Canadian Directory of Affordable Alternative Hearing Devices and Development of New Measures to Evaluate the Benefits of Next-Generation Hearing Technologies
Why AUDIORAMA.ca?
Traditional hearing solutions can be expensive and difficult to access. At the same time, many more affordable devices are appearing on the market, but it’s not always easy to know which ones are effective, comfortable, or suited to your needs.
Audiorama aims to fill this information gap by bringing together technical measurements, real-world evaluations, and user feedback in a single compendium.
What You'll Find on AUDIORAMA.ca
A list of evaluated devices
Explore a selection of accessible hearing technologies, including over-the-counter hearing aids, personal amplifiers, smart earbuds, and listening assistance devices.
Independent results
The devices are evaluated based on objective criteria: sound quality, amplification, internal noise,
distortion, comfort, ease of use, speech intelligibility, and value for money.
Real-Life Experiences
The findings will also include the experiences of people who have used these technologies in their daily lives: family conversations, public places, television, the telephone, music, and social activities.
